I have a 2003 Honda Civic EX *Automatic* when approaching red lights i come
up with a slow pace and i usually throw it on neutral and rev it up a bit while
approaching the red light for a stop. Does this hurt the engine by doing this?

 

do u do it to show off you rnew pipe?

It wont hurt much as long as you keep the rpms down...

 

won't hurt it unless you rev it up to redline a lot... but why do you do that? just wastes gas...

 

I dont do it all the time, just some of the times, and i usually hit up
to 3rd not hitting the redline, so its cool then i guess!
