The "main" Civic sedan assembly point is Ohio, but some (like my '06 LX sedan) are also built in Canada. I've seen sedans on dealers lots with both locations stated on the window sticker.

The "15% from Japan" in my particular car is the 5-speed automatic transmission.

I'm gonna agree with the no buy on the Corolla. That car is terrible. I don't like how the driver sits up high and i dont' like how it handles like crap. I would never willingly drive one. My aunt and uncle have the new Corollas (diff years) and i've driven both. They are pretty much both pretty bad at handling. My EG sedan handles better than both corollas and i like how it feels when i sit in the car.

 

I've never driven the new corolla but my mom has an 00 corrolla and I'm not crazy about how it handles either. It's not TERRIBLE..but I don't like it that much either
