I want chrome handles for my 97 Si. I was wondering the easiest to go about installing them

 

Removing your door panels and then removing the old door handles. Then....install the new ones. I don't think there would be an easier way.

 

lol i meant is it relatively easy or complicated to remove the door panels and install them?

 

no not hard at all.... if its all power its simply a few screws and clips and electrical conections. then the release rod and key rod and 2bolts on the back of the door handle... preaty straight forwards.
thier should be like some plastic retainers on the rods which youll pop it off the rod around the tip and move it to 90degrees of the rod and the rod should just pop out the hole... and just reverse it all to reinstal...

tho one good thing to do is cause youll definatly thrash your inner door moisture block thing just use a thick trash bag and duct tape to seal it back up decently....
