Default Door handles

I got replacement door handles which match the color of my exterior (I have a 94 dx coupe), but I don't know how to go about changing them out. Any suggestions???

not for sure maybe someone can confirm this for you but...i think it goes something like this...take off the door pannel with the window all the way up..take out two 9 or 10mm bolts...there should be somethign to unhook from the handle..a cable i think and it should come right out

I have a 1996 Civic with a manual window crank. I need to remove it before I can pull the door panel. It looks like it has a clip of some kind. But I an not sure how to remove the window crank. Anyone have any ideas.

Should have a plastic strip in the middle that pops/slides off, and there should be a screw underneath.

remove the one or two screws from the door handle. and it should come loose\out. with a rod attached. there is a little plastice piece that is attached from the handle to the rod. push the clip out off of the rod to that is swivels. the rod should come right out, just did it on my 95 dx sedan!! you don't need to take off the door panel

Hi I would use a shop towel and slip it underneat the window crank and do a sawing motion . That removes the U shape clip.
The other fastener a just screew and many panel clip . It is good to have a clip remover or you may damage the panel.
You could probably make one with a slim flat piece of metal where you cut off a U shape groove

Once you get inside, it's an easy procedure. It's getting inside that's tricky.
