Default Plan On Shaving Door Handles

Hey guys and gals

Basically what Im looking to do is make weld in filler plates for doors , gas doors , antenna's , ect. For a bunch of cars .. civic is on the list

so Im just lookin for some feedback from you folks .. good idea .. bad idea .. what would sell .. what would be a waste of time , ect.

It can be done a t any bodyshop already, but I'd say the most popular would be the door handles and the fuel door. My cousin shaved the fuel door and has his filler bedind his taillight. He has to fold it down at the gas station... sick as hell!

well i know it can be done at body shops but this is more for the do it yourselfers who dont have metal workin tools

In order to do bodywork such as this, knowledge of basic metal shaping properties and proper tools are needed. It is not for beginers.

if u dont plan on having ur car for 10 years u can just remove the handles and fill em iwth bondo and get it painted.........but weldin is the way to be.

Im sorry but that has to be the one of the dumbest comments Ive heard in my entire life .. i would advise having more then 1/8 - 1/4 in of bondo and u wanna fill a handle sittin 1/2 - 1 in ... do u know anything about body work ... haha

anyways thanks guys .. i can see i picked the wrong car hahaahaha

Shaving handles on a civic makes no sense at all...how about you come up with some nicer handles though?
