New Speakers

RE: New Speakers
[ol][*]Make sure phasing is correct. If one speaker is reversed the bass will disappear and the sound will not seem to be coming out of the center. ( I know you have answered this one in the previous post. I just want to say it again).[*]If the magnet is larger (stronger)than the original there will be less bass.[*]If the spider is stiffer there will be less bass. Note: The spider should loosen up a bit over time.[*]If the cone is lighterthan the original there will be less bass.[*]If the mid and tweet are stronger (louder)the bass will appear to be less.[*]If the speakers are not sealed around the mounting surface there will be less bass.[*]If the speakers were designed to work with a sub they will have less bass (and probably cleaner sound).[*]It could be the originals had too much bass (boomy) and now the response is flatter (and cleaner). [/ol]
You now have an excuse to buy that 12" sub you've been checking out.

RE: New Speakers
this is the receiver and idk if the wiring pic helps.. i was just driving and was messing with the stereo some more and theyre alright.. i wasnt putting the volume high enough for the bass to be produced and I had to mess around with the bass/treble/middle...etc. they arent bad but i could use a sub just a little one

RE: New Speakers
you might have a defective set? when i changed mine out, the bass response was night and day compared to the stockers, then when i got a head unit, the bass amplified even more when i set the high and low frequencies to the correct settings
