Well, don't waste money on another set of eye lids. You have one still right?? Just go to they place that you got your vinyls and ask for some scrap black pieces. You can make eyelids with vinyls PLUS they won't fly off on the road!!! The ones on my car right now are vinyl.

Definately looking good. Someone that lives near me has a white ek with rota c10's in white. Man does the thing look nice. The shiney lca's and rear sways from the rear help

ORIGINAL: that guy

OH, and there's another good reason why I don't like flashy cars. people know what they look like and they attract a lot of attention to people who don't want/need attention.
i have noticed that cops NEVER look at my car when they drive by, they just keep looking forward, its kinda cool cuz i'm usually pushing the speed limit lol

one of my friedns that has a Cobalt has vinyl eyelids that match his silver car, the only thing i dont like is that light shines through them a little bit, but that could be solved with another layer

and thanks everyone!

well its been a while, Civ's look good, got a $100 ticket so my dad isnt letting me order my spring compresors til i pay that (70 mph in a 55). But i do have a question:

I'm gonna be installing my ebay short shifter this Saturady and am really wondering if i should use my GReddy weighted shift **** with it. I've heard stories of them snapping, and while i almost never shift hard, i'm really worried the shifter might break because of how heavy the **** isand then i wont be able to use my **** since the old shifter will be stuck inside it. The **** was like was like $55, so i dont wanna go out and buy another one. Think i need to worry about it?

Oh, and the un-ricing got me another ROTM nominee, stoked on that but i'm runnin against Tyler, so it'll be useless

if you think a shift **** will snap your shifter, then how much do you think that the **** weighs? lol

it will be just fine, even if it does snap, it will usually snap at a pivot point, in this case is located around the spherical bushing on the shifter.

that sucks about the ticket. if it makes you feel any better, a local cop blew his engine pulling a Starsky and Hutch burnout u-turn chasing after my dad when he was doing 35 in a 25. I can't imagine the embarassment he had to deal with on that call to the station. that cop in particular has pulled me over five times for no reason late at night. I called it "drunk fishing" the fifth time and he quit pulling me over after that.

Your car is absolutely deserving of ROTM nom. You have put so much work into de-ricing that you deserve recognition. Good work, and I think that cheepy ebay shifter will be just fine with your weighted ****. Get yourself some polyurethane brushings to go with it (energy suspension). Pics should absolutely find their way onto this thread after you're done with the install.

ej the **** only weighs a pound or so (it says on the box and online, but i dont feel like searchin lol), and i know its not THAT much heavier, but still, its just more of a risk of breaking the shifter. And thats good it usually breaks lower, that way i'll prolly still be able to get the **** off

and thanks for the compliments that_guy, i might get some poly bushings in a little while, but right now i just want the shifter in real bad. Its just been sitting in my room (along with my S-Techs [:@]) and it needs to be put to use. And as for the cop pulling you over all the time, that sucks, but glad they're off your back now

so my ebay projectors on my driver side fogged up a little bit [:@][:@][:@]sealed htem up as good as i could and they still did, but that was during a REALLY bad rain storm, and it was juat a little bit. As soon as i turned my light on the moisture evaportated and i was good to go. Still worries me a little bit, its been warm and sunny for a few days now and the moisture is still yet to be seen again, but i still didnt like it. I guess thats ebay though
