Remember that they'll come unpainted.

Oh yeah i'm sure of that and I know it haha. I already need a paint job for my car. I'm just thinking what color? Any tips? I'd like to have black but that's very common. I could always restore the b-63p (harvard blue stock) paint...

ya they will come with a black primer coating... DO NOT LEAVE THEM UNPAINTED!!!!!! at least spray them with some primer at least! that black coating is just thick enough to keep surface rust off till its painted.... ya ever see a car that has a completly rusted out hood but its straight... they replaced the hood and didnt paint it thinking that black layer of paint was enough when it wasnt in time! so spend 10-20bucks and spray it all in primer.
2hours away isnt bad at all! mines like 6-8hours away i believe so i bought mine off ebay. fitment was actually pretty good. id have to research again to find the seller tho.

cool cool sounds good. Haha I should primer spray it white. I'm saying that cause I have two cans. One of black and one white. But ok that's great to know i know exactly what you mean with the rusted hood. I think I'll paint the car black when it's all done (meaning fender hood and bumper)

Nothing wrong with having a black car, but if you ya since you want to paint the car I suggest getting primer for the hood and paint it with the car.

You mean basically sand the hood and primer it then get it painted?

Well I wasn't sure what you meant, but i'll be doing this:

Buying a new hood, bumper, and fender at the same time to replace my messed up ones, then i guess i'll primer them right away? Then take my car to a paint shop to get the WHOLE car painted black, sound good?

well i would spray it with primer first and clean it really good before spraying.
o ya and a light scuff before you primer as well with some 600grit wetsandpaper just scuff em up hose it off and wipe it off with a towel and let dry to see if you missed any spots scuffing up the layer before cleaning and primering. you just wanna make sure it sticks really good so the first time you go into the car wash it doesnt pressure wash the paint right off.LOL

main trick is the bumper cover! you must scuff it with 600grit sandpaper and then use a PLASTIC PROMOTER primer stuff otherwise! been there done that look at my pictures in my photobucket page.LOL that just primered layer no scuff or promoter just flaked off with a regular garden hose... i had to strip it and then do it the right way sanding and promoting it before paint! after that it stuck nicely

Oh wow. So all this work I still need to do BEFORE i bring it to a paint shop? Like Maaco? Don't they do this? OR Would I do this only if i was spraying the car myself? I know why You sand it it's to make it stick. But i thought I wouldn't need to do this if i was bringing it to a maaco or something for a brand new paint job

Btw I don't know if this is a stupid question or not haha but the 5th gens (92-95) are all interchangeable right? Like for example a fender off a 93 civic hatch SHOULD fit my 95 civic sedan right? Reason why i'm asking is I simply don't know and I couldnt find it online haha AND because there are plenty of cars being parted out on craigslist SO i could probably find it for 20 bucks or so.

Yes the parts would all fit of course and are interchangeable and it just saves time and money to install the parts, sand and primer it good so all you have to get done is a paint job at the shop.
