I have a 95 civic 1.6 that starts to overheat once I start to drive it around for a bit. Once I stop running the car and turn it off it goes from almost hitting the top mark it drops until about the halfway mark. Fan turns on and all and then shuts off. Any ideas !? Thanks in advance

 

any more information? how long has this been going on. have you checked anything yet or had someone look at it yet. how many miles. definitely more details with the fans. are you saying they come on while idling or driving and immediately go back off and never come back on? this could be anything from your low on coolant up to you have a blown head.
