Okay,

I found a 1991 civic dx hatch.
It will be a ground up project.

the body is straight, may need minor work on body and a paint job...
Other than that, I think everything will be a ground up build over a year or two when I have time.

I am going to put a beefed up b18c and go N/A
Going to keep the JDM feel alive... no flashy paint or anything.

So here is my question.
The car wasn't "wrecked" it was broken into or stolen and the insurance company salvaged it
and I was told because of this, the vehicle will not be street legal and I will be unable to
have the car registered.

Also, seeing how I am not familiar with B series or a full build.

So here is what i'm thinking..
since the car is not going anywhere....

Should I build motor, and get the transmission and all squared away
Ready to drop in before I have a skeleton of a car sitting around?

I am shooting for 200-225 HP

So anyhow.

just throwing this out.
I'm open for suggestions.

well if you can not drive it what the hell is the point.... if you can not drive it dont even bother doing a restoration?
