Default Question about center console

I have a 95 DX hatch and it's the most manual car I've ever owned. Manual windows, manual locks, manual mirrors, manual seats, manual transmission, manual steering, hehe. I saw that Spal makes power window and door lock conversion kits. I'm ordering them but was thinking of where to put the switches. I noticed on the center console there are two rectangles that look like they may be switches or something for options I don't have:

Are those factory power window switch locations? If not, are there factory switches that go there? I'd like to keep an OE look if possible. Thanks!

So what are they for, are there supposed to be switches for something there or is it just covers over screws or something? I'll probably just throw the switches on the console unless I can find clean power window door panels in the junkyard in the same color.

I have a spal window kit and i put my switches right there. IMO it was easier than having to wire all the wires that go on the switches into the door. There are bout 5 wires per switch and it would be a pain in the *** to get that big *** set of wires through the door....especially if you wanted to both switches in the driver door.

IDK, i think right there is better since the swtiches dont look that stock...but that just my opinion.
