passenger side and dirvers side axles are both different. i would personnaly replace both at the same time because they are both old and proably bad if not going bad,

and you will need to drain the trans before you do it also other wise it will leak all over the place.

if you have an auto only use honda genuine atf.

a manual trans either 10w30 oil or honda genuine mtf, or synchromesh. (huge debate but all are basically the same IMO)

There is a good writeup with photos in the DIY section about axle replacement. Check the boots on the other one and if they are still good you could consider leaving it alone for the time being. When your axle is making a clicking noise it is worn out and can't be repaired, you have to trade it in for a rebuilt one.
