ram air

is ram air supposed to have like a sucking sound i just installed it about 20 mins ago just making shure ever thing is ok

Yeah, short-ram and cold-air intakes are both a lot louder than the stock intake. The whistling/sucking sound is perfectly normal, as is that sweet hissing sound the intake makes when you shut off the car now lol

dont worry, i dont think there is really a wrong way to install it.

Just make sure there are no leaks after the filter, as that will let dust into your engine. As others noted, the inlet itself will make a lot of noise.
