Default Repair cost of this damage?

Hey guys, some guy backed into my 98 civic and just took off, but not before he totally crushed my right fender. I'm wondering how much would it be to get a shop to fix it for me. I really have no experience with messing around with cars but do you guys also think it would be possible to fix myself?

Thanks, and here is a picture below:

Buy a new OEM fender (or a junkyard fender if you can find one in good shape) and find a friend who can paint to spray it. Shouldn't be more than a few hundred dollars including the cost of paint. Replacing a fender is pretty easy; there's 5 bolts holding the fender on, one screw holding the fender to the bumper, and a few push-screws holding the fender liner in place.

Welcome to the forums btw

yeah don't pay any one to do that for you that is probably the easiest type of damage from an accident you can fix, is that all he hit i can't really see but you would think he knicked the bumper and headlight light too, your really lucky if he didn't

thanks for the replies! The headlight is fine, the bumper seems disconnected a little bit. Here's a link to a full-size image so it's easier to see.

From what you guys say it doesn't seem to be that bad, I'm really relieved. Thanks!

There is a bolt in the wheel well that holds on the bumper that prlly broke off and that would be why you say it seems disconnected btw I can't see that picture my browser won't load it
