repair or sell?
<<I would just get the closest color door from the junkyard and install it yourself or have a shop doing this for you>>
That's what I've been thinking. Thank you.
<<If this is just a slight dent - forget it.>>
Oh no. My door is completely smashed. I can't pry it open. The window won't go down because there's no room for it. The door shifted inside enough to pop open the fuse box and one of the dashboard panels. One of the shops I got an estimate from drilled 6 holes through the door to try to get the pressure off the striker, but they couldn't get the door open. I'm pretty sure there is door frame damage too - but I don't care about that as long as I can get a new door on there. I'm just tired of climbing out the passenger side over the stick. Fortunately the damage is completely isolated to the door; not even a scratch on the side panels!
Can I just pop out the door lock so that I can keep my same keys? Will the remote door lock still work on a new door?

All done. $800 out the door.
There was significant damage to the frame. It took three days to pound out the frame in order for the new door to fit. They matched the paint for the new door. I can't tell the difference in the shades of red - they waxed up my whole car to make the shine all the same. New pin stripes and everything.
Keys work. Remote keyless entry works. Door opens and closes fine - they say I may need a new latch in the next few years. Other than the frame damage on the inside lower portion of the door (which I did not pay to have repaired), I can't tell anything ever happened to it.
Thanks for your help!
