Hello everyone--first post from me. I just bought a new '05 Civic EX coupe as a commuter car. Great little car; very pleased with my purchase. I won't be moding it much if any; I 'll just drive it back and forth to work. This is not the first Civic I have had; I had a 95 EX about 8-10 years ago-but I had forgotten about the road noise. I looked around at it a bit today while washing it, and I think I can see why I am getting some noise--there is no fender well liners! Well..at least not much of one. I can look clear through the car above the front wheel. Anyway, in order to dampen some of the noise generated from uneven roads, tires,etc I was thinking of Dynamatting the interior. Have any of you done this while putting in a stereo? Has it helped ny? I mean..was it a NOTICABLE change? Also, I thought of foaming the subframe with expanding foam insulation; I thought it might also kill some reverberation. Any of you done this? Just looking for ideas!!
