Default road noise

i bought a 92 civic because it is clearly one the most recent vehicles that is destined to fall under the heading of "classic cars". before i dump a load of cash into it, though, i would like to find a way to eliminate the road noise that comes with economy cars. anyone try to do this or is it just a waste of time?

Default RE: road noise

Depends on what you want to spend and what effort you are willing to go to to meet your goals.
Dyna mat, Brown bread, fat mat, B-Quiet, etc....
#1 decide on budget
#2 ask questions or research your self
#3 Spend $$$
#4 have fun.
I have done Dynamat extreme in my truck with a layer of B-Quiet V-Comp foam...Very quiet...no road noise.
Civic got a layer of Dyna Extreme. Much nicer to ride in.
