Rookie Civic Advice Needed

the easiest way is run 2 wires throught a firewall plug behind the battery into the ecu. and then you have to plug the wires into different ports on the ecu. and then the ground is the 3rd wire.

What about a D15B2? There is one for sale locally cheap. Where does it fall in the food chain?

IMO and experience with one, get a D16Z6. i have a 95 civic ex and came with it. best SOHC for your budget.

Yeah i think thats what i'm leaning towards. I can probably pick up a D16Z6 for around the same price as what I would pay for a D15B7. Really this is just going to be a drive back and forth to work car for when I'm not driving the truck, so I really want to keep the budget as low as possible. Hopefully I can run across someone pulling one out to swap to something else and get a deal on everything I need.

Thanks again for everyone's advice and suggestions. What did we do before we had internet? LOL

What about accessories like the AC compressor? Will they change over from the D15B7 to the D16V6?
