Default Rough paint job qoute?

so i plan on getting my paint touched up a bit. got some areas that need more work then others. just wanted to know what people think the job will come out to.

problem areas are:

-hood is crashed at the corner where it meets the fender(starting to rust)
-fender corner also bent in(starting to rust)
-bumpers have some scratches
-other then that most of the paint is in good shape.

i have a black primered hood in good shape. some dings no dents. bad primer job. so should i sand it myself or have the professional do it. same goes for the fender. i plan on buying a used one. i dont like bondo work. ill post pics of problem areas later. thanks

Doing the prep work on ANYTHING will lower the price. If you go sand the whole car down, do your own bondo, initial sanding, primer, then mask off the whole car yourself, even a Maaco paint job ($200ish) will look decent. But you still get what you pay for. Expect to pay $1000+ for a really acceptable whole car paint job. If you are just gonna get parts touched up, they'll do it for much cheaper but the new paint might not match the old paint perfectly.

the paint shade slightly changes over the years from weathering or different chemicals in the paint and from what they use now. sometimes its close and most people wont see a difference but other times its obviously not the same color! its best to get the whole car done... otherwise just get some touch up paint and dab in where you need it just to keep it from rusting further.

but if you go with the cheap macoo paint job im sure the paint wont match and youll want the whole car done!
