Default running no muffler?

As of now i have a skunk2 muffler. I just got the urge to take my old muffler and cut it open and take everything inside out, or cut a section pipe out maybe a foot or two before the muffler. i'm just kinda tired of having a car that sounds like every other honda/acura/any 4 cylinder that wants to be an acura/honda. does anyone have any dire reasons not to do this? I would repair the exhaust eventually because its prolly really loud, but i think it would be fun for a while.

Not fun for your neighbors, though...

I've got a 2.5" inlet / 2.5" outlet Turbo muffler from Canadian Tire for $29. Sounds great and at very high rpms doesn't seem to have any restriction on flow. Deep and throaty but allows the fillings in my teeth to stay put when I fly low...
