If you don't prep the surface the paint is going to peel; that's not a "maybe", either. It will peel and/or chip.

 

Thats what i was thinking but he was sooo hell bent on convincing me otherwise...oh well hes gonna be f@cked soon cause he painted 2 wheels, his vc, interior crap, and hes wanting to do his aem intake too...stupid ricers (he has the body-kited cobalt ive mentioned several times before)
