Default slow civic VP

my former coworker bought one of the last '05 Honda Civics in our area (a shiny black automatic VP).

we were at lunch today and he was complaining that his car lacked power, and wondered about his options.

he mentioned turbo, and I said 'not until the warranty' runs out. He still has at least 2.5 years left.

do you guys think a turbo could be in his immediate future, or simple airflow mods?

I'm thinkin' the latter.

i would do the intake, header, exhust for now since he still has the warrinty on it and see how it improves, then later when the warrity is over he can decide if he wants to do a turbo or SC

I'm guessing certain mods will void his warranty so keep that in mind.

if he is going to boost it then dont even buy the header. thtats a wast of money.instead prep the bitch. intake 2.5' catback and high flow cat. this way he will get the most out of his car when he boosts it.
