i cant tell if that shift **** is a direct screw on or a univerasl one with a set screw, but if its a universal one it wont sit very tight at all on the shifter, but since you have an automatic it shouldnt bug you too bad. With a manual its REALLY annoying thoguh [:@](i had one and couldnt stand it. Switched it back to stock, but i got a screw on one now)
While talking shift *****...Are the metal ones COLD in the winter, and HOT in the summer? It would strike me that they are, where my OEM one doesn't tend to hold the cold/hot variances.

The auto's are different from the 5 speed *****. Because the auto ones aren't screw downs. They're held on with a little bolt. Even without the bolt the shift **** was extremely tight, so you really don't have much to worry about. But yes, they get extremely cold in the winter. Not bad at all in the summer though.
alright thats good. Definatley steer away from the universal ones with a set screw. And yeah in the winter they get ridiculously cold. Never really noticed it being really hot in the summer though, but i guess it would make sense.
