HEY JUST wondering if anyone has done stereo mods to a new 2007 lx civic yet?
i mostly listen to mp3s so the quality is not topnotch right off the bat.
i was hoping to add my subwoofer/enclosure/amp combo in the trunk and hook it to the stock head unit if possible so the stock spkrs dont push any bass and hopefully sound better when cranked up.
so i need to know
1. how to remove the plastic cover over the stereo and ac/heating controls w/o breaking it as a din kit is 450 bucks for a 2007 honda civic, probly not that much for a new plastic piece though. i popped open the glove box completely and found no screws so i am thinking maybe the plastic cover piece just pops off the headunit??

2. how to wire up the sub/amp to the stock head unit

 

lly the screws are at the bottom. And you have to take off all three bottom panels (for my 99 civic)
