Arrow spark plug changing question

Ok so I got them out and 3 of the holes are bone dry and one had oil in it. Is that normal? Man o man did the plugs look messed up! Do i need to clean the oil out before putting the new ones in?
Thanks!

Arrow also spark wire question

I also got new wires and they seem to be a tight fit. It says "push hard". How hard? They are the same length but are squared rubber instead of round plastic. Help I really want to do this myself. thanks again

Press down until they seat into the valve cover. You may feel a click when they seat fully.

Never mind, I figured out I need to replace the valve cover gasket and spark hole seals.

I added a pic to the gallery of what my plugs looked like when I pulled them. Warning: graphic shot. LOL
