Default Squeak going over bumps

I get a squeak sound coming from the rear of my car when I go over bumps. Its not a metal squeak sound. My civic is a 98 hx coupe with a stock suspention. Aside from the strut bars but this was happening before I put them on. Any ideas as to what this could be? Struts maybe?

Which bushing might it be?

it could be any of the bushings in the rear half of the car.

try to replicate the noise by pushing down on the trunk of the car. then try to localize the noise.

No it is def suspention related. I think it is the sturts going to lower the car replace sturs anyway.

my rears make a noise where the rubber upper mount sits in the top hat assembly(if you took the strut out, the rubber "spacer" that sits between the metal top hat and the spring)

I only hear it when it's cold outside, anything under 40 or 50, and I'm going over a bump.

My front squeaks like crazy when going 40+. It has to be the lower control arm bushings or the lower ball joints because I've replaced everything else and I know for a fact it's nothing I replaced making that noise. At first I thought it was the sway bar bushing mounts, not that. When I have off 2 days in a row sometime I'll replace those bushings and the lower ball joints. Noise better go away.

no just bushings in the rear.... jack the car up and inspec the rubber bushings....
2 main ones to check is the large main bushing on the spindle arm alittle forwards. and check the bushing on the strut thats on the lower control arm.
just look for any dry roted rubber or cracks...

Yeah the bushings are bad. I think I may be the spring rubbing in the hat though.
