Show usyour logbook. I would like to see how you are doing tank by tank, andto see the how the mileage changes from before and after you changed to synthetic oil

 

im withgene, oil is oil, synthetic oil is only good for motors that get driven hard, for long periods of time ,which for most people is not the fact& for lazy people that change their oil every 12000 miles[:@], i've been working on cars for 27+ years (before synthetic was even on the market), & have done about 50000 oil changes, & have found that any car can last long just by changing the oil every 3000 miles , i have some customers with older cars with 250000 - 300000 mile on them
why? , because they change the oil every 3000 miles
the only time i use synthetic is when i go on vacation , when i drive at 70mph for 8-10 straight hours

 

I'd say synthetic is good. Just did an oil change 2 week ago + PCV Valve change + the Pure One filter was larger than the oem Honda one. Weekly mpg tanks went up to 43 and 44 mpg from typical 41.5 to 42.5 tanks, no hypermiling.

 

Post your logbook. I would like to see the results myself. I'm sure others here would like tosee the results also.
