Default Thinking about getting a Civic

I have never owned a V4 before. I was looking at the LX and EX model. My problem is that i dont want payments to be too high. I want them no higher than $350 at most. Heh, what sucks is that i work at a mitsubishi dealership, so i wont get the car at a discount. :P I was thinking about getting an Eclipse, but since they start at $21,000 for just the base model, thats a little too much. Anyway, plus the civics will help on gas mileage and stuff. But, for those who own either the 2007 or 2008 models, how are they?

honestly, unless your credit is horrific, your payment will very easily be under $350 on an LX or EX.

I recently bought and Si when Honda was running the president's day 2.9% financing, with that interest rate, and financing $18k, I pay $327 a month. You'll be starting under $18k, so you'll have a lower payment.

I just bought a 07 civic and my payments are only like 347/ mo with a 7.9% so its not too bad. From what I heard about the 06 and up they changed it to a timing chain instead of the timing belt like my old one ( 02 civic) which I sold. Which means you can go longer without changing it which I like about my 07 civic. if you get the 4 dr, there pretty roomy.
