Standard batteries emit gasses (I think hydrogen), bascialy it's bad for you and explosive. Battery reloaction kits come with usually 2 or 4 awg wire for your positive and ground as well as a battery box. If you choose to run a standard battery, then you need a battery box that has a vent to outside to protect you. Otherwise you can get like an Optima battery which is sealed and isn't harmful!

And dude check out the megan OE muffler.... super cheap and is supposed to sound good. Lookes cool too.

M-OE is the name for it.

like 80$ shipped, I may buy it if I get an exhaust.

And the plaid pattern is the best that you showed.

Edit:

Awh ebay seller who was selling them stopped

here is the cheapest I found for it.

@dipset
hmm. never thought of that, it's def an option now. I mean if I don't want to (or can't afford) a b series for the time being, that could be the best options, plus I can learn more about the engine and swaps for the future. thanks a ****load!

@nike
i agree with the plaid, i think i'll do that, i'll keep everyone updated with how i do it (even though i'll just be using a diy on here).. i'll pick some up in a couple weeks when i get back from vacation! and i love yer sig
p.s. i'll take your word on the muffler, ordering it as we speak

thats a pretty good deal for the full swap. if you do get that, your going to need a p28 (if im correct) and your going to need to wire in vtec if your car isnt a ex.

and let me know on how doing the headliner goes. i want to do mines, but not to sure on how to take off the trim pieces. i know the sunvisors and oh crap bar. but the trim pieces near the windshield look wierd to take off.
