Always make sure you have at least 60% of the weight on the tongue.

It states in the owners manual 1000lbs and 10% of the load should be on the tongue. so I shouldn't have a issue with the tranny

thanks

Yeah the 10% is right. My bad.

I'd just drive the car easy. If it starts chugging going up a hill, slow down and drop it into a lower gear (using the gear selector). Happy toeing

Exclamation

So next weekend Im gonna tow my skidoo and trailer around (900lbs) total to a location around 300kms to join the trails.

Do anyone that has a 2009 honda civic automatic have any recommendations or advice to give me in towing this weight with this car. (would this car and tranmission handle the weight hills and distance??

Please let me know before the weekend thanks everyone .

you have asked the exact same question 3 times, people have responded and told you, all the main members here have older civics, call honda and ask them 3 times.

I'd say you're good to pull the trailer with your civic. With only yourself in the car.
However, if you're pulling this through the snow, you WILL get stuck. Most of the weight in the BACK of a FWD car = not very good traction, and lots of getting stuck.

Lol I love the pics also there's no dock on the skidoo pic.

Hey mitch get a life I didn't ask u three times, I'm a little concerned about my car its new and it cost money to buy, it didn't come free.

So if it hurts u to answer f*** off and find someone else to shi* on.
I didn't join this to argue.
Im not like u sat up by the pc all day waiting for someone to respond to forums, cause thats the only people and friends that you have.
