I would like to put traction Bars and a short shifter. is there a lot of work for traction bars. do you have to lift the motor or any thing like that. I would think the short shifter wouldnt be very diffucult.

 

Short shifter is really straight forward actually, I think theres a DIY here in the DIY section. Or run a search.

What kind of traction bars are you talking about? Like strut/tie bars, sway bars, torque dampers, etc..

 

Its got sway bars. But in having a problem with it wheel hopping. I was also thinking it might be the rims and low profile tires? Would the Torque Dampers help with that?

 

Yeah torque dampers will definitely help. I'd swap out the motormounts first though.

Traction bars are set up to bolt to the frame around the radiator and they have bars that go to either lower front control arm. They are ment to keep the arm from flexing rear wards and lowering if not removing wheel hop.

There are several units available.... choosing one is hard (I've been debating this as well) and also price is a factor. I'd do research on the various makers and see which comes up best in your eyes.

Talking about wheel hop, i get it when i dont rev too high and i let the clutch out, but if i rev it good and let the clutch out i do a nice burnout, is that a bad thing that it hops when im not revving too high?
