91 civic = $1500 - running.

He has electrical issues. I wouldn't offer him any more than $500.

If you think that's still worth the trade, then go for it. OR just buy the hatch and put the V8 in.

God I miss my beast.

No way, the person who has that Civic doesn't know what he's doing.

I would be afraid of many issues with that car. A B16 ECU will not run a D16 properly but he seems to think it makes it run better (which it won't). Who knows what other stupid and careless things he has done to it?

I agree with the others. Stay away from that Civic, certainly don't trade anything of value for it. The guy did not know what he's doing, putting on stuff like underdrive pulleys and the wrong ECU. You'll have to undo all the mods he did, then find the real problem, then hope that the engine isn't shot in the first place.

Anytime someone is selling a car that doesn't run and says it just has some minor problem, that's clearly a lie because he would've fixed it himself if that were the case.

You need to run away from this so called deal. I would never buy/trade a non running hack job.
