lol, i remember when i first saw the ebay kits and thought how awesome of a deal they were.

im up to 2 g's with my kit and i have at the minimum 700 left to go. not including tune, but you know what nice about spending the extra 2100 (mysetupis not really abudet build)? i dont have to worry about my engine exploding cuz the wastegate failed, or my turbo mani cracking off and getting wedged underneath my car just because of the weight of the turbo, or my turbo splitting in half because its basically super glued togeather.

save yourself the headache, re evaluate your $$ situation, and do a lot of research and right a positive negative list of turboing your car for your personal needs. if you got the $ and turboing seems like it'd be good for you then spend another 3 months or 16 or somethng researching parts, and piecing togeather a list of everything. jump into a ebay kit without knowing anything about turboing a car is the last thing you wanna do.

and you dont need pistons / rods if your going low boost under 225-250 whp witha great tune(might be a little high)

all this is just my opinon though, some people take the risk and are happy with ebay turbos, i just dont like taking the risk on my car that gets me to where i need to go lol.
