Upper Ball Joint on 94 Honda Civic EX

Default Upper Ball Joint on 94 Honda Civic EX

I'm having a hard time on trying to get the ball joint to ceet, so i can tighten the castle nut. Any suggestions?

If you can partially thread the castle nut, the ball joint should pop into place during tightening.

i'm having the problem on the upper arm, when i try to tighten the castle nut onto thebolt they both just spin. i need some type of clamp to get it to ceet.

Put a block above the upper arm, between the arm and fender, then jack under the lower joint to force the knuckle assembly up and cause the top joint to seat.
