Default Weird stalling issues

So my buddy has a 240sx, and its givin us trouble.
Replaced:
Spark plugs
Wires
Fuel filter
Fuel pump

The car works great, for about a mile. Then it hesitates and stalls. He says its like its not getting gas, but he can clearly hear the pump prime every time he turns the car on.
Weird symptom - The car only does this with a good amount of fuel. If he runs the car near empty, it runs PERFECT.

wtf?

hmm, my car hesitates and sometimes stalls, but my issue isn't with the fuel.
(thanks for that info Punisher, i'm gonna get the new wires/spark plugs asap now)

oh, and what are the fuel filter/fuel pumps for?
and where do they go? (obviously for the fuel but in the engine bay area, under the car or in the back?)

jay dont go blowing your money,
fuel filter is on your firewall next to battery and fuel pump is in the gas tank.

well my wires are already bending in to each other, which will cause misfires soon.
and my spark plugs haven't been changed since a good while the owner told me about.

and is it necessary to replace that.? fuel filter/fuel pump
