What is the Best Generation Civic? - Thinking of Buying

Just bought (NGV) 2003 Civic GX. Never owned a Honda or a NGV for that matter. My new (used) car has approx. 92K, but I suspect I can get much more out of this vehicle as it looks to have been well maintained by 1 owner. Any suggestions or tips to making my Honda experience better, I would be more than happy to read any comments.
