My best friend is looking to buy a D-17 A1 SOHC 16 valve V-tec. It's a 2004 Honda Civic Coupe EX mt with front and rear sway bars, AEM intake, TIEN suspension, and cat back exaust. Do you guys think that this is a decent engine to mod. What are the potentials?

 

D17s are hard pressed for super modding. Other than that, exhuast, intakes, headers, and suspension mods are in store for him... Id go for it.

 

Although i prefer 6th gens. I still think that a 7th gen done right can look really clean.
