does that mean that the Evo MR has more power than the supra ? supposedly the supra had 400whp while the evo usually brings 280whp and it caught up at 5th gear? i guess it goes back to turbo lag huh ? < jus wondering

Hm i wonder if the k20 has the topend too though cause, my buddy hasn't even topped his out, he can get it to 160 with a quickness and still has a few rpms and another gear to go

look, I'm not hating on the k20. it's a sick engine, and I'd be really pleased to own an EG or EK with a k20 in it. it just seems like the supra would still win, turbo lag and all. I guess I'm having a hard time registering that one because a dude I went to high school with had a supra. I used to watch him KILL other dudes cold with that car. it'd have to be one hell of a civic to beat a supra. put a k20 in a little EG and build it up, now you might have a match for the supra.

alright fanboys, pull your heads out of your asses and stop living la vidaFast and the Furious. Supras are not god's gift to racing, and believe it or not, they ARE beatable..

Honestly, I doubt that k20 in the video has anything more than just bolt ons. Theres a guy over in Detroit who has a stripped EK hatch, k20a2, with mild bolt ons (I/H/E) and a tune with KPro. He's already laying down 218whp, and that dynopull was done when he had leftover 89 octane in the tank. Imagine what it'll do with new cams, 93octane, and a re-tune.. Car weighs roughtly 1950lbs without him in it, and is already walking cars known to run low low 13's. (Check my post in Sights/Sounds for videos)

The k20a2 motors respond really well to mods and a tune, it's absolutely no surprise to me that people are having the success they're having with the motor, especially in a stripped Civic

Noob question. What does a K20 come in stock? Or does it come in any stock car?

i had a rsx-s... im not to sure about the k20 beating the supra(stock) modded probably yes.. because they respond really good to mods.. all i had was Cai/test pipe/ and exhaust and i whooped up a couple of people. so yes maybe woth mods the eg or ek coiuld give it a run for its money... shoot my friend with a 240 killed a firebird with 400 hp..
