Default WTH is this sound??

Back again! Hey guys and good morning, just a simple question that I been pondering and would hopefully get my answear from my civic buddys . Soo ok, the sider for ac is at hot and I begin to turn it on. Now, once its on, the sound started to make which it is on the passenger side. I don't know if my ac or coolant is messed up but why is there sound when I turn my ac on? But later on it stop. Just irritates me, that's all.

It would be hard to figure out what you are talking about without a video. Try and get a video going so we can hear the sound exactly.

However, by the way you are describing it, it sounds like your blower motor.

Well, are you sure that no one installed the wet kit when you weren't looking? haha

Is the noise made when you turn the climate control on (i.e. heat, a/c etc), or ONLY when you hit the A/c button?

Starting with the 1996 model (I think), the A/C will engage whenever the air outlet control is on defrost. It will do that whenever the outdoor temperature is warmer than about 35 whether or not the A/C button is pressed. Sometimes it is normal to hear refrigerant flowing in the evaporator behind the dash. It sounds like a hissing or gurgling.

There also may be some leaves or debris stuck inside the blower. You can take out the blower motor by removing three screws behind the glove box.
