Agree'd. This is a project thread, and we haven't seen a single picture of anything. Not a car, not an engine, nothin'.

Why not just run a thinner head gasket?

if you want to drastically change the compression, get new pistons. decking the block or head negatively effects the quench area

I have been posting for trades around where I live. I just have the b18b1 block and a guy just traded me straight up. B20b with gsr trans with ls 4-5 gears. I just need to know the small stuff I will need besides motor mounts to make this swap work

It is still a B series swap. Nothing different than the B18b1. I am so lost when it comes to your project.

i have been bouncing around on what i wanted trying to get a good feel from your responses. I have finally settled down on a b20b and in the future (2-6 years) on boosting the engine 8-12psi. I am very happy with a b20b because they are relitively easy to come by, since crv were massed produce in different generations. What is hard for me to find is a gsr and ls transmission that i need to finish the build. Am looking to put gsr 1-3 ggears and ls 4-5 gears

Like, in your transmission?
