Oh, and about hood seals... They're impossible to get off a car without breaking one of the like 20 clips that hold it on. I should know. I tried to steal the one off my sister's car. (She doesn't need one, really.)

 

You can rent the vacuums at most auto zones for the a/c. I already had a gauge set and just bought some 134a at PepBoys. Might save you some money. I cant seem to find any info on how to install an a/c kit. I have a complete Integra kit to add a/c to my Civic, but have no clue how.

 

ya ive thought about doing it myself but i dont have the dual gauges to really check the pressure and all. plus id rather just have a shop do it since they can test it out properly and if it fails ill be back for them to fix it.LMFAO

 

that was because i just opened up the new bumper cover cleaned and sprayed it. i didnt sand or use the plastic promoter. this time i did both!

 

Wow...that bumper looks clean. My paint is chipping off the front and i wanna strip it off and just leave it as black rubber (how my car initially came). What is this bumper stripper you're talking about and where can i get it?

 

The funny thing is, that paint job you did yourself looks better than any one spot of the paint on my entire car.

I tried to do it and failed horribly... I couldn't get it to shine. And I tried hard too! I sanded all the old paint off, repainted it, and clear coated it too.

 

its a plastic bumper stripper. i got it from my local automotive paint supply shop. you can probably go to any auto collision paint shop and ask them if you can buy some from them.
but if its your OEM baked on paint it says it wont remove that baked on paint.


and tho the paint looks shiny trust me it will never shine like a real paint job will!!!!! its decent but by no means worthy of true show.LOL ill still be painting the car as long as it doesnt sell that is which doesnt look like it since im not trying to give the car away
i just keep pushing back the paint date..... i have about 56hours of vacation time left that im trying to use for when im going to paint the car. so ill be getting it ready for paint before i take my vacation and have it almost worthy for paint before i take the time off to really sand my ***** off on this car.LOL

ill post pics of it on the car here in a few mins. just got home from work so time to go put it on the car.

 

ok well slapped together. looks better. now i just have to remove the side trim and paint it and the rockers. tho im just gonna quick job them just spray with paint and clear. with only promoting the side trim pieces since ill reuse them. but not the rockers since i have smooth ones ill be swapping them for later when i do the whole paint job.

at least it doesnt look AS BAD.... it shouldnt get laughed at AS MUCH at my car show

o ya also gotta paint the wheels as well. BUT im out of primer and only have 5bucks left in my bank account since i just paid all my bills. so not much going to be done for a bit

Looks pretty dang clean. MUCH better than wrecked or primer.
