Rota Boosts

Re-painted the window trims at the top of the doors. They needed it badly. Also, replaced my spark plugs last night.

Thanks!

Hate to say it, but I ****ed up the paint already. Backed into a fence (very low speed impact of course) pulling out of my new driveway. Minor rip in the paint. I will cut out the rip and re-spray the corner of the rear bumper. The car also needs to be cleaned big time. The back end looks grey up close due to the carbon deposits all over it.

The Civic will be washed tomorrow most likely. My bro just got a 60D Canon, so I will have him take some more pics if he is around. Also, the exhaust manifold is cracked along a weld next to the o2 sensor.

Here are my new plans for the car. This build, as mentioned before, will be slowing down very quickly due to my new apt taking pretty much all of my available funds.

Things I NEED:

- VSS ($75)
- Axles ($75 - Lifetime replacements from AutoZone)
- Hood and fenders (?)

Mods I WANT:

- Fix exhaust manifold, have a flex pipe welded in. ($50)
- 3" exhaust piping to a Vibrant muffler with a turn down tip (~$250)
- Re-do interior (painting and re-wrapping) (~$100)
- Euro R intake manifold, 66mm TB, and 3" intake piping to a velocity stack ($400)
- Oil cooler (if I can get one from work on the cheap - $~75)
- Paint brake calipers red ($15)

That's it. I imagine that this list will bring me to this time next year and I can officially just be done with the car. Enough is enough already

I dig the plans, man. I was wanting a vibrant muffler too, because I've heard they're pretty quiet. Then I looked them up on youtube and thought they sounded terrible, so now I'm not sure which route to go

I would look up for other axles rather than AZ axles. I feel they are a 50-50 chance, maybe because they are remans. I got my passenger axle from them and it broke within a month inside my tranny. And I only have a single cam with an megan headers, sk2 intake manifold and ail filter.

I was doing my research on how to get the axle end ( the terminal ) out from the tranny since the differential middle stick was big enough to make it difficult to get it out with a screw driver. My finding were that a few people have problems with auto zone axles ( or remans in general ) some of then come 1/2 inch shorter, some other one break pretty easily. What happened with the hasport axles you had before? ( maybe I got lost on that part of the story xD)

Just a thought.

My axles went bad and started clicking due to my motor swap. I am using DA Integra axles with the H22. The car was too low and the axles just didn't like that height. They started clicking, I raised the car up a little, so I need to get new ones and see how long they go before clicking. I need to find that sweet spot (height wise) so I can preserve the axles as long as possible.

Where do you think my front bumper, and fenders came from that I have now? I am pretty familiar with where to get everything I need. just broke as **** right now even though certifit has fenders for like $30 picked up. Thanks!

Just get the autozone. I know so many people running them... From a boosted b16 putting out mid 200s to my friends all motor b20v. Only time I saw one break was my friends when he launched it at the track. But otherwise they are pretty problem free. And he warranties everyone else's axles for him whether they are autozone ones or not. Reman doesn't mean they just clean it up and paint it. Most things are replaced in reman stuff.

Hey! I am still VSM at the heart!!! I can just peel the white skin off and show my true colors! haha Yea this apartment and living-by-yourself thing sucks because money goes out the window and I am finding myself cleaning on the weekends rather than working on the car. lol

Axles are currently lifetime warranty AZs, they will stay that way since they have been the best so far with my set-up and because I get a discount on new ones when I give them the damaged units back.
