I believe I read about someone using 2 washers, I'll play with it when I can.
Well, the bolt for the UCA is seized to the metal sleeve within the bushing and I went through about 10 "sawzall" blades without even making a full cut. I am getting it towed to a shop. It was freezing out last night in my area with terrible wind gusts blowing everything around, so my patience was less than usual.
The inner tie rods (possibly the outers, too) will all be done while the car is in the shop since they need replacing.

No air tools unfortunately. I would use a dremel and take the time to try and cut it out, but I will probably end up doing more damage and it is freezing out this week. Last week it was in the 70's, now in the 40's. I might try at it tonight, but I doubt I will have any patience with it. I am starting to get into the motion of making the attempt, but not forcing myself to do it. If it does not work, or gets worse, I stop before anything bad happens, and let a shop do it since I just don't have time to deal with it.
I used 2 washers with the factory bolt for about a year and a half with no problems. I read somewhere that the general rule of thumb is 1 washer per inch lowered, so I used 2 for 2'' with no tire wear problems during that time.

I will try 2 washers first and take it from there. Thanks Max! I am really happy with the choice, too!
Car is getting towed tonight. Forgot to mention that the superbrightleds.com place sent me a replacement already for the non-functional unit. +1 for good Customer Service. They also included a return label so I don't have anything to worry about for the return! I'll throw that in tonight. I highly recommend them.

Car is already back in my possession as of last night. The shop I deal with is has a really nice turn-around time. I was only charged for 1 hour of labor to remove the broken bolt, and install the OEM UCAs on both sides. $60 isn't bad and better than me getting frustrated with it.
New tie rods were installed yesterday, too. Time for an alignment now!
Rear camber is probably around 3.5°. There is a Clinometer app for my phone and I plan on playing with that tonight when I get home from work to check the camber. However, with the OEM UCAs installed, I have zero rubbing in the rear. Lets see how much camber can be removed before it starts to rub again.

However, with the OEM UCAs installed, I have zero rubbing in the rear. Lets see how much camber can be removed before it starts to rub again.
Raised up the front end this weekend by 3/8", and installed one washer on the UCAs for the rear. Alignment was done yesterday, I have about 2.6° of negative camber all around. Thinking of installing another washer in the rear, but not overly concerned with it since the toe is fixed.
Also wired up my power folding mirrors 100% (finally... I know). Took me a total of about 8 hours to run the wires from the doors and get everything done correctly. I'll take a quick video tonight if I have some extra time before the sun goes down.
Picked up those knock out plugs at Home Depot as Scott's linked DIY showed. Took a little effort to push them in, but once they were worked in, they are good to go. I have been driving around with them on for about 100 miles and none of them have fallen off! I'll sand and paint them black whenever I get good painting weather.

i did the same thing to align the rear camber....i bought longer bolts at ace hardware and used 3 fender washers...in my case 2 wasnt enough.it still was cupping but not as bad.im new here ..but why not use the adjustable camber kits.they are cheap enough.why would they not be safe??

Thought I was going to be able to get some work done this weekend, but my car started spitting coolant and almost overheated on the way home from work. Need to figure out where this leak is coming from now.
Also, I have a clunk noise in the front passenger side corner that is noisy when cold, and makes noise during turns, so I need to get in there and see what is going on. FUN
