Anyone who looks at this project thread interested in any parts before I go and make the FS threads?
I got a week and a half of time so lets make it happen!

Well we will have to see how many people are serious about putting out that kind of money. I will highly consider it, I just would not look forward to pounding in my strut tower. What psi pulley, 8 psi?

And as to the mounts, I know you are going to run aftermarket, but what I meant is if 4 rubber mounts can hold the power, I guarentee 3 stiff mounts can no problem.

I am sure I will get plenty of interest at that price. There is someone on H-T now selling the exact same set-up for $1000 plus shipping. I would probably go ahead and toss in the Hondata IM gasket, too. The blower makes 7psi at WOT.

For the mounts, I will just go ahead and pick up the three mounts I need and look into the fourth later on down the road when I get bored

Anyways, I got EXTREMELY lucky regarding the clutch and flywheel where I do not have to worry about selling it. I work with the eBay seller multiple times per week through my job, so he knows me and was able to accept a return on the D series stg 4 clutch and flywheel and send me a H22 stage 2 CC clutch and ACT 12lb flywheel for a total of $60 plus shipping the D series stuff to him. Sweet. Just saved me time and effort trying to sell the D series stuff and money buying the H series stuff.

I should be working on cleaning up the block and removing the trans. tonight!

sweet! another H-series build! can't wait to see this. you're gonna have more power than your boosted D and...well... you wont be boosted! Keep us updated with lots of pictures. I'm gonna need them when it comes time to finally swap my car.

You guys will be sickened when (and if) I decide to spill the beans on what I'm spending on my H22....

Hmm 7 psi on a stock y8 with ARP's and dx tranny... should make decent power? And how's the job at Mishi? Do you actually help with car stuff or mostly calls or online stuff? Decent pay too? Seems like a cool job lol.

And Shandles, H22's are really pretty cheap motors to own and build compared to other. Parts are harder to sell due to lack of as big of a demand, so people sell cheaper. If you go on Hondamarketplace.com you'll see tons of H22 stuff that people are just trying to get rid of. I got a steal on my H22 and that is because the guy couldn't get rid of it, and I sold it for over 2x as much as I bought it for. Getting parts used for them is really easy, from rods to cams, only downside is the whole frm sleeves which is why my future drag car plan is going to be hella expensive for sleeving.

Local guy is selling Innovative mounts for H in ek for $200, they are the aluminum mounts not the steel ones. He is willing to ship if you are interested and haven't ordered any yet.

Alright I decided I want the supercharger lol, so when you are ready to sell, I am ready to buy.

Few questions:

1. How was traction? I have a dx tranny... so I'd get a hell of a lot better traction than with an ex tranny... but if you barely spin in 1st/2nd then I'll just get an ex tranny for the overall shorter gearing.

2. How hard is it to learn s300? I don't want to be stuck at this Acura dealership forever, and I really want to learn how to tune, so is it pretty user friendly? I know about a/f ratios and stuff like that from school/work, I've just never done any tuning of a car and I'd consider getting s300 and teaching myself.

I just need a clutch and a new header if I do buy it.

Not sure on clutch... butttttt I will get a Kiddracing (Bisimoto knock off) header, equal length and longer tube length that wraps around the side. So pretty much let me know because I am a serious buyer and would LOVE to have this on my ek... I know of 4 supercharged cars in my area.

1. Supercharged gsr that they bring to my dealership for work
2. Supercharged ek hatch with a gsr
3. My friends cousin's supercharged k20 da
4. And a girl who's got a supercharged d16 ek

Defintely something different, may not be the fastest but defintely cool. And if I get it I want it by June ish so that I can have it in and ready for the King Motorsports meet June 18th that I am taking my car to.

Should make ~160ish hp/~140 tq. That is a guess. I hope to get my car on a dyno tomorrow or extremely soon just to be able to know what it did. Mishi is good. I am the Customer Service Manager in addition to the Test Fit Manager. I answer the emails and tech calls, as well as visit local shop and help with installs. Definitely is a cool job. I've been there for 1.5 years now and no complaints.

I'll have to pass on the aluminum mounts.

1. Traction is fine. It'll break the tires loose in 1st easily, and a little in 2nd. Driving in the rain is a blast IMO. I'll spin the tires all the way through 3rd just for fun. If I can get some time this weekend, I will make a few videos of the car driving around.

2. Not hard at all. If you have an AFR and wideband, you can do it. If you want, I can send you my current tune to get you started.

My BDay is 6/18! :P

Are you interested in the meth kit? The current tune has fuel being pulled up top due to the meth being sprayed. I may be keeping the RC440s. Not sure yet though.

If I have to eventually learn Kpro, then you should be able to learn s300 lol.
Can't wait to see some progress from the both of you guys.

I dont think need the meth kit, save it for when you turbo the h lol. Talking with a guy from work who does tuning he was saying I should learn on Neptune. Either way I do want the supercharger, so let me know when you are ready to sell it. And only 11 days top my bday!

LOL.. the H will not be turbo'd. Also, the meth nozzle is too big for any N/A applications so I would have to buy a new, smaller one. It is currently a 7 gallon per hour nozzles, when many of the N/A's run like 2-3 GPH.

I'll make sure to post up a FS thread once I am ready to sell.
