why not the whole firewall? nothing somemore tape and news papers cannt cover up master cylinder wise and what not.
i just think it will look kinda odd.

but everything else looks great! tho i probably would have gone an hour longer with some bondo, a palm sander before painting just to fill some of those useless holes now that you dont need alot of them with that nice mild tuck.

I hear ya but I am not about to spend any more time prepping or painting the bay. I did it for protection and a little for aesthetics. I made sure to get the areas that are most obvious. But I figure that once the engine is in there and the Benen tripod bar are in place it will be hard to see the places on the firewall that I didn't paint.

Maybe someday, when this car in no longer my daily driver I'll tuck the brake, fuel, and clutch lines. Then I'll be able to get to the firewall.

Oh, and I'd consider welding up the unused holes. No bondo for me unless it's used properly for body work.

Yeah, I broke down and painted a bit.

The base on factory mirrors are painted for EGs. However, I have the 'spoon' style eBay specials which came black. I'm going for the panda look so I wanted the base to remain black. My roof will be black one of these days too.
