Ej6Buddy's Little Buildup.
gaaaaaahhh I just realized I never called Alex about that y8 mani... I'll tell you what. I'll see if I can't get ahold of him tomorrow... actually, I guess it's today now lol... but I'll let you know when I get in touch with him.
And I like the drop... looking good. The front might be as low as my ej1 was... now just bring that *** end down
*ninja edit: oh, and with that toe, try driving it for a while... I promise your tires will be gone in 3 months tops. If you want, I can dig up pictures from when I kept putting off an alignment lol. And it's fun getting the car onto the alignment rack, isn't it?

As for the drop, I was just playing around with the height. I actually raised the whole car from those pictures
Yes, I know it sucks, but I'm a practical person, and that height is not practical. It has a finger gap on all four corners now.And the car is completely aligned, running a 1/8 toe up front, and 1/16 toe in the back. the camber is setup as well, it handles like a race car (considering it's a race inspired alignment, lol)
And as for the alignment rack, it's not a big deal, I use an in ground alignment rack, by far the easiest way to do it. I could be so low I'm dragging and still get on the rack, it's horizontal.
All right, cool... a b18c would be badass.
And what are you talking about "not practical"? I don't see how tucking tires is impractical. I mean, yeah, you can't drive straight over speed bumps... and yeah, you have to angle the car to get into a steep driveway... and yeah, you have to be careful how you drive... and yeah, you can't park close to the curb and still be able to open the passenger door...
And I'm jealous of the in-ground alignment rack... it took a good 10 minutes to get my civic up on the rack after lowering it... let's just say a few 2x4's were used... I don't even know where the nearest shop with an in-ground rack would be.

I'm actually not 100% sure, but I'm getting tired of driving on the rough suspension (already, i know) and me having to constantly keep up with everything. So I'm going back to stock and drive it until i'm out of college so I can start with a better platform such as a vette c5 or audi, bmw, or suby. It's just getting old, plus it will give me a chance to focus on school and getting a career setup.
It's not necessarily the upkeep, it's the constant changing of things. for instance, my amp just blew.. When you install new things, you'll usually have new problems which require new fixes. I'm not in a position to keep fixing things, especially when I'm a long way away from my tools

Hopefully, if my uncle retires, I'll be getting the in ground unit
