fo23rat's slow project.
But to run a car at a resonablly lowered height and to just have it aligned your tires won't get chewed up, my rears are out of factory spec and my tires are perfect. I run a little bit of negative up front so I don't rub and I have no camber wear visible.
And only thing with coils is they get real expensive if you don't cheap out. I've heard REALLY good things about these full body coilovers. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Funct...Q5fAccessories Good price too.

In my personal experience, on two different cars ('93 Civic sedan, and a '93 del Sol), I had excessive front tire wear even with toe set to 0º and the only thing out of spec being the camber. On the Civic, I had a few alignments but the wear persisted. I sold the car before I got a chance to put on a camber kit. Got the del Sol and had the same problem. Had my toe set to 0º and everything again right after I lowered it but I once again encountered front tire wear. Then one day I decided to go against what everyone on here seems to say and I bought a front camber kit. I had new tires put on and a few days later I installed the camber kit and got an alignment. It's been like 5 months or so now and the tires still look great and with no uneven wear at all.
I'm lowered 1.8", FYI.
the front of the car cannot be compared to the rear, the front will wear 10 times faster since they are the drive and steer wheels. camber for the rear isnt important at all but the front is very important.
I know that's why I'm saying he should get a camber kit if he is going low... obviously the wheels cut in to a turn and will pull more rubber. I had to get a camber kit for the front since I went so low, I don't have too many threads left in my Ground Controls, so my camber would be insane. You have to have it semi close to factory specs.
i slammed my 95 sedan and put 155/70/13 so i wouldnt have and rubbing issues
and never had any wear issues

the wider the tire and lower you are the more important the camber is, if you dont want uneven wear,

^Fo you aren't done yettttttttt. Don't think you can just slap those Skunks on your oem struts. I was going to put Skunk2s on my car, got some on craigs BNIB for like $125 but ended up going with coilovers. If you put those Skunks on your shocks you have right now, your ride will be terrible and I guarentee you will blowing struts in no time. My original plan before I decided to spend a lot on my suspension with KYB AGX and Ground Controls was Skunk2 springs over the Skunk2 shocks.
Here's my warning, the Skunk2 springs are VERY stiff. They have a high spring rate, so if you don't mind being tossed and bounced around and the occasional jarring impact on unavoidable potholes/cracks, then go for it. The Skunk2 struts are made to be paired with the Skunk2 springs, so they work well together. The struts aren't adjustable, unlike KYB Agx's, Tokico Illuminas, etc. You might as well just get a combo package of Skunk2 springs/struts on ebay. Or get the Skunk2 coilovers, they only cost a little bit more and give you the adjustability. Just remember they are going to be very stiff. Coilover springs are half the size of factory springs, which means they have to make up for the loss of distance to travel.
And what makes the Buddy Club so much better honestly? I'm a proud believer in Blox and their products, and unless you put new polyurethane bushings in the control arms of the BC's you are just putting your old bushings in to a new control arm. I'd rather have new ones even if they aren't poly...
