Yea I'm going to do a tuck...or at least begin one, over my christmas break. I'm drawing a catchcan in solidworks right now as well which will be made from aluminum and welded together then powder coated. If it works well and i choose to have this one company that is going to help me sell and test parts, sell them, itll come in an option with an fittings/braided line or just barbed ones with rubber hose

id go with fittings. fittings can be adapted and sealed tighter than barbs.

correct.although with t-bolt clamps, the hose would do just fine. You have to remember, AN fittings are pricey and in reality, a barb fitting and hoses would do fine and save quite a bit. Im going with braided and an fittings but if I sell them, it would be up to the customer

well i was thinking you could have standard fittings on them. that way the buyer could choice for cost effective or great looks by just putting on a adapter. but thats just IMO.
it probably would be better selling to keep the price down on em tho. good point since everyones trying to be cost effective now adays.

hey there ladies! Been a long time since I updated this bad boy. So, I still have the same car, just kind of going in a new direction. I still want a new motor and such, but I'm more into designing parts now. Granted, the catch can I designed did flow really well, and the tow hook is done. Both of them need made, but they're not all that difficult to create. I've actually been working on an intake manifold for the last 2 months and just recently saw that it was very similar to the BMC Race IM. So i'm rather disappointed. As josh pointed out, at least I'm doing something right. However, I want to be different. I'm considering starting over and using a design based more on the y7 IM. I'm thinking the y7 will flow more evenly compared to the y8 which is pretty win. So I'm going to look into sometime this week over my break. I have to replace my hood release cable (will be a DIY) and I'm thinking about DIY'ing my fmic to fit my fogs. I've got a few ideas on this since I want to keep my AC. Ill try to keep this more up to date. I still have a ton of pictures I'd like to put up, just been kind of busy lately.

Looks like our projects have a couple of parallels. Let me know what you come up with on the keeping the fogs part.
