Wow. That looks brand new. I gotta say, I was a huge fan of the extension cord technique. I also really liked the gauges I saw when you were pulling them out of the console.

what i used when i pulled and pulled my EG civic motor was the chains as well as 2 small ratchet tie downs. those help alot for twisting and turning the motor really easy by just tightening them down. if that helps ya out any to reinstall it in the new ride. it seemed to help me alot even with a engine ballancer thing on the engine hoist.

Well surprisingly it worked very well. It kept the engine from tilting backwords and even with pulling the tranny and shift linkage (I got a punch stuck in the bitch pin) after having everything unhooked, the motor came out VERY easy

Found me an 00 EX in black 2dr. Goods: Pretty cheap, right around 3k, very good body and interior Bad: It's an auto. Doesn't really matter because I've my stuff to swap over it's just something that I didn't want to have to do.

O and just for the lulz. I was trying to remove the bolt where the rear shock attaches to the LCA...I had gotten one side but this one was fighting me. Here's the end result. Snapped 2 of these guys too

O! and with the price of the car I should have enough to buy the suspension I want with the leftover money from insurance
