how much more is the 5speed? it would be alot easier to swap your goodie parts into thats for sure so IMO it would be worth maybe 500more just not to mess with the wiring. plus youd have a extra tranny just incase, definatly a plus. you know the automatic would just be sold or junked.

Haha Addiction has a point. My dad and i just tore apart the auto trans for the heck of it, to see what everything looked, etc. didn't even try to sell it

Id go with the 5spd just to save the hassle. You already have quite a bit of work ahead of you.
